Writeray is a professional service/platform that gives professionals/writers access to the most reliable freelance jobs not only in Kenya but also across the world.
It brings together the most experienced and highly skilled individuals, before being vetted carefully to ensure only the best get to handle the client orders. Orders and paid
bi-weekly, currently only using M-PESA – a Kenyan mobile phone-based money transfer and payments service. There are very high quality standards expected from the professionals – which makes the platform stand out from its peers.
Structure
The platform is decoupled into three modules.
- Client
The front-end or clientside of the application
- Server
The back-end or serverside of the application
- Portal
The writer/professional portal.
Integration
The integration of the clientside is currently ongoing. Next will be the server and the portal respectively.

For each of the five microservices, open and follow the steps (in each microservice README) to run the development setup
